Mom, I wanna see a movie,

Can I get some pocket money?

Back in those days – a movie was a boon,

Times have changed too fast too soon!!

Is it that the people are smarter now,

Or is it that they don’t know how to manage their finances somehow..

The culture changing to living life in debts,

No place for humans, but they still wanna have pets!

Is it a need or is it a want,

Or is it something they just want to flaunt?

My friend’s got a car and a blackberry too…

How can I walk out with this unbranded shoe?

Oh my dad’s got a lot of money…

Why do I need to make an effort honey?

He’s grown old and I’m the only heir,

So in the end, why should I care?

I need a phone to remember numbers,

I need a place for the slumbers,

I drink and I drive, I fake, I pretend…
