The Search Within...

On one side I see the luscious green,
The other side there is this deserted land..
From childhood insanity to being serene,
The humble desire of living life grand..

The school, the fun, the joyous bus ride,
Had it all disappeared into thin air?..
Enemies few, more friends by my side,
Did I have friends now - I questioned myself where?..

Was it all bound to have happened?
What should I say to thee..
My spirits once high - now stood dampened,
Had my desire to grow made them flee?

I searched for peace, I thought about content,
But those were just moments - I was too busy..
Time passed by, now I sit and repent,
What I looked for all my life - was always within me !!

Don't Live in Regret....

As the light grows we feel the morning sun,
We think about the day and what can be done..
Will work be gloomy or will it be fun,
Will I sit by my chair or will I have to run..


We have a little shower and brush our teeth,
In no time we're out of home and in our seat..
Feeling the air and ground beneath our feet,
Are we just puppets waiting for day's end to meet?


Just another day with the routine work,
May it be a professional or just a small clerk...
Wiser do we grow or grow wiser as a jerk!,
Money for the routine and influentials' get the perk!!


Darker it grows - as we see the sun set,
You cannot keep dry what the rain wants to wet...
Deviate the normal - change is worth a bet,
Food for thought - don't live in regret!
